With presentations from 150 manufacturers, start-ups and designers, exhibitions with the latest materials and a line-up with 50 inspiring speakers, MaterialDistrict Utrecht will be full of material inspiration from 12 – 14 March 2025, again in Werkspoorkathedraal Utrecht. A visit offers you the unique opportunity to see and touch the latest materials and products with your own eyes, meet suppliers and learn more about the latest developments in the field of sustainability and (interior) architecture.

To Werkspoorkathedraal Utrecht by car
We advise you to come by bicycle or public transport (train station Utrecht Zuilen). If you do come by car, you must park at P+R Transferium Leidsche Rijn Utrecht (Berlijnplein 4, 3541 CM, Utrecht), there is a free shuttle service to & from Werkspoorkathedraal. For € 12.50 you can buy an exit ticket at the entrance of MaterialDistrict Utrecht.
To Werkspoorkathedraal Utrecht by public transport
If you come by public transport, the fastest way to reach Werkspoorkathedraal is to take the NS Sprinter and get off at Utrecht Zuilen station. The Sprinter takes 3 minutes from Utrecht Central Station to Utrecht Zuilen. From this station you walk about 10 minutes towards Tractieweg 41, as it is displayed in your route planner. When you arrive, you will first see the car park on your left. From this point you walk straight on. The entrance to the event hall is on the left side on the Tractieweg side.
Another option is to take the bus from Utrecht Central station. Line 5 towards Cartesiusweg leaves from platform C3 on the Jaarbeurs side of Utrecht Central. This bus takes about 20 minutes, get off at Gietijzerstraat. From this stop you walk in about 5 minutes towards Tractieweg 41, as shown in your route planner.
To Werkspoorkathedraal Utrecht by bike
If you come to Werkspoorkathedraal by bicycle, you can park your bicycle to the left of the parking lot. The entrance to the event hall is located on the other side of the event hall on the Tractieweg side.
