Wessel van Beerendonk is co-founder of RAP (Robotics, Architecture, Production). Wessel earned his bachelor’s degree in architecture, urbanism and building sciences from TU Eindhoven. Subsequently, he graduated with distinction from the Faculty of Architecture at TU Delft, where his graduate work focused on the application of robotically controlled building processes for architectural design. Studio RAP is a Dutch architectural design and fabrication studio committed to bringing innovative software solutions and industrial fabrication methods to the construction industry. The relationship between material, process and form is at the centre of architectural production. Through the integration of fabrication parameters into the design process, the results for performance, cost effectiveness or aesthetic appeal can be optimized.
